How to lose weight fast without dangerous drugs
March 29, 2012
Hi,

Are you concerned about your heart health?

I am sure you have been exposed to the cholesterol scare on television. And, it is a scare.
Yes, the risk of heart disease is real, the cholesterol scare is not.

May be you are thinking to yourself: Well, I am young and fit and I don't have to worry about the state of health of my heart.

Really?
Well, consider this:

  • Most Americans over 35 already have heart disease, they just don't know it yet.
  • About half of the people who die from heart disease have normal cholesterol level-this according to Dr Chauncy Crandall.

And how do you explain clogging of the arteries in children as young as 12?
That's what research at Louisiana State University found- that clogging of the arteries starts early in life, as a result of poor nutrition.

Our lack of heart healthy nutrition is killing us!

If poor nutrition is responsible for clogging of the arteries, why then are cholesterol lowering drugs being aggressively pushed on television?

Could something else be at play where heart health is concerned?
Could it be tied to the fact that statins-cholesterol lowering drugs-are the best selling drugs in the world, raking in billions of dollars in profit?

May be the desire for profits has been used to blind us to the fact that there are safer alternatives, and these alternatives do not involve drugs?

But does low cholesterol make for a healthy heart, anyway? And even if it does, are statins the best way to achieve it.

And what about the horrible side effects of these drugs?

Read more about the dangers of statins here

Nowhere in these commercials, is there any promotion of a heart healthy diet
These commercials do not have a best foods for your heart segment

The fact is, your cholesterol can actually be too low for a healthy heart.

What does research show?
Researcher Iwo J Bohr, found a startling fact-startling, in light of the cholesterol lowering hype in regular media.

In a published paper that was thoroughly reviewed by his peers, Bohr found that one thing that is common to Alzheimer's disease victims, is low cholesterol!

  • Low cholesterol is a risk factor for Alzheimer's disease!!
  • If your cholesterol level is too low, you are a prime candidate for a heart attack.

That may be hard to believe in the face of the shrill noise about lowering your cholesterol level in order to have a healthy heart.

Low cholesterol also impairs brain function.

How?
Well, a high percentage of the body's cholesterol is in the brain.
It is the substance that powers the brain's electrical impulses.

These electrical impulses are what make thinking and other brain functions possible.

And if these electrical impulses cannot transmit signals from point A to point B, well, you can kiss your brain functions-memory, language, balance, learning etc.-goodbye. So what makes for a healthy heart?

What would be of benefit-a low cholesterol diet, a low sodium diet; would heart healthy foods be of benefit?

These are what people struggle with, in the face of self serving advice from "experts".
But here is what people who have taken the time to do the research agree on.

  • Some people who have been told that they have high cholesterol, do not.
  • The major cause of high cholesterol-if it is high at all- is poor nutrition.
  • A cholesterol level that's too low is a risk factor for a heart attack.
  • People with low selenium levels are 2-3 times as likely to develop heart disease as those with adequate levels.
  • Adequate levels of vitamin C, E, beta-carotene significantly reduce the risk of heart disease.

One of most damaging substances to the integrity of the arteries is homocysteine.
B vitamins neutralize homocysteine, to keep the arteries flexible and able to carry adequate amount of blood to every part of the body.

Another group of heart healthy nutrients, are essential fatty acids available in oily fish, nuts etc.
Lack of anti-oxidants in the diet is a major risk factor for heart disease. Anti-oxidants neutralize free radicals
Free radicals are responsible for arteriel damage, aging, wrinkles, heart disease, strokes, arthritis and more.

Some of the most potent anti-oxidants are found in berries and fruits-blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, boysenberries, grapes, amalaki fruit etc.

In fact, a nutrient in blueberries known as Pterostilbene lowers bad cholesterol better than prescription drugs without the side effects of drugs !
Not only that, pterostilbene is a potent anti-oxidant, and also a potential cancer fighter!!

What this boils down to, is that we can be naturally heart healthy, without dangerous drugs that create more problems than they solve.

And if you find all these hard to believe, take a look at what this Cardiologist (Heart surgeon) says about being heart healthy naturally.
If you don't believe me, you would at least believe him.
He is a heart healing doctor! He should know.

What's more, researchers say that cholesterol level lower than 200 is actually a risk factor for a heart attack!
Instead of recommending drugs that can trigger a heart attack, they would recommend heart healthy foods as alternatives.

Oh, did I mention that one of the side effects of cholesterol lowering drugs, is heart attack? Sounds like a contradiction, doesn't it. A drug that's supposed to strengthen your heart puts you at a risk of heart attack!

Most experts now agree that most diseases are caused by:

  1. Poor nutrition
  2. Lifestyle
  3. Inflammation
  4. Inflammation has been implicated as the MAJOR cause of most diseases-arthritis, heart disease, strokes, Alzheimer's, wrinkles, cancer etc.
One of the culprits in inflammation is sugar and fat.

Unfortunately, these two are present in almost all the foods on supermarket shelf today.

How can you protect your heart health?
Listen to and follow the regimen of a heart doctor who was once treating heart patients by cutting open their chests.

Then he found out that this is NOT the best option. He found out there is a better, natural way to a healthy heart.

Take a look at what he has to say. It could save your life or that of you loved ones
